Unnested collects the minimum data necessary to operate the service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for any commercial purpose.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address via Clerk, our authentication provider. We store your problem-solving activity — which problems you have attempted or solved, submission history, and the dates of that activity. No payment information is handled or stored by us directly; payments are processed by a third-party provider.
How we use your information
Your data is used exclusively to provide the service: authenticating your session, displaying your progress and submission history, and computing activity metrics such as your streak. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating Unnested.
Third-party services
We use Clerk for authentication and Neon for database hosting. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies. We do not authorize them to use your data for any other purpose.
Cookies
We use cookies solely for authentication session management. No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies are set.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. We will fulfill deletion requests promptly — typically within 7 business days. To submit a request, contact us at hello@unnested.io.
Your rights
